Non-Peer Reviewed Journals
The content of non-peer reviewed journals are not scrutinised by an expert group of peers - in contrast to the rigorous review and selection procedures of peer-reviewed journals.

Peer-Reviewed Journals
The content of peer-reviewed journals is selected after going through a rigorous review and selection procedure by expert peers in the field of study or research. The reviewed process can either be 'closed' where the names of the reviewers remains secret, or can constitute open-peer reviewing.

Open Access Journals
Open-access journals are free scholarly journals. They have many advantages, including easier access to research and increased recognition and citation of the authors of articles published in Open Access Journals. However, there is often a direct cost for the author in publishing their work in such journals.
The Directory of Open Access Journals includes the subject of architecture.

Adding your journal
- Click edit at the top of the page (make sure you have completed RIBApedia registration and logged in first!);
- Put the name of your journal in the listing above;
- Highlight it;
- Click on the link icon in the menu at the top of the page;
- Write in the 'link' box the name of your journal;
- Save the page. The name of your journal will now show up in red font;
- Click on the name of your journal and it will take you to your new page about your journal. See The Architects Journal for an example of writing content for your page.
