'A critical element of the project is the goal of finding effective ways of engaging students and tutors with archival material, both for historical/theoretical research and for practice-based inquiry. One aspect of this is the concept of “students as curators”, both of archival documents and of their own creative work, in order to develop greater awareness of the archival process and curatorial practice. We also seek to explore the creative teaching and learning opportunities offered by a Web environment.'
